Sweat doesn't equal strength

Fitness can get hairy when our expectations are not aligned with what we are doing.


I love group fitness, but for some programs there are limitations where the broad spectrum of fitness is not covered: different energy systems, training modalities, progressions, strength training, unilateral, bilateral, modulating training ...


A slice of the fitness pie often isn't enough to satisfy the true desire of the individual because group fitness is for just that, a group.

High intensity or circuit classes can still be a part of a solid training plan, but what else are you doing to become a robust human mentally and physically?
